I use this as both a metal-turning and wood-turning
lathe. The
bed is a bit short, but for small projects it is convenient and very
functional. It has a variable speed drive which comes in handy
for a
home craftsman who is not experienced and needs to try different speed
settings. It just fits on my work bench in the garage and has
given me
hours of enjoyment.
